If your rotis aren't puffing up like a proud auntie at a wedding, you’re using the wrong tawa. Our Glazed Clay Tawa is a game-changer for the modern kitchen. It provides the legendary asli texture of a clay oven with a smooth glazed surface that makes turning parathas very easy.

  • Perfectly Puffed Rotis: The unique heat of clay causes the dough to rise evenly, which gives you that soft and airy "phulka" texture that metal simply cannot replicate.

  • Non-Stick Surface: The smooth glaze acts as a natural barrier, which allows you to use less oil or ghee.

  • Even Heat Distribution: Say goodbye to burnt edges and raw centers. The thick earthen body ensures a consistent temperature across the entire surface.

  • Flat Base: It is designed to sit securely on your modern gas burner, so you can flip your aloo paratha without the tawa being unbalanced.

How to Use and Care

Glazed Clay Pots & Handis:

Our glazed clay cookware combines traditional craftsmanship with a durable glazed finish for convenient everyday cooking. Before First Use 1. Clean the Pot Wash with warm water and a soft sponge to remove dust. No soaking is required. Note: If there are any unglazed clay areas, soak those sections (or the entire pot) for 15–20 minutes. 2. Light Seasoning Rub a thin layer of oil (olive oil, vegetable oil, or ghee) inside the pot. Place on very low heat with a little water or grated coconut. Allow it to simmer gently for 10–15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the pot cool slowly on the stove for 15–20 minutes. Afterward: Move the pot onto a wooden board, trivet, or thick cloth. Avoid placing hot cookware directly onto cold marble or metal surfaces.
